Inspired to stained-glass windows, my son created this work to represent a St. David’s life episode.
He drew a very simple and stylized scene, with very large contour lines. Then he cut off the empty spaces from two black cardboards overlaid.
After that he glued the shaped and coloured pieces of tissue-paper on one of the black cardboard cutout.
Eventually he has glued the black cardboards cut out of each other.
Brilliant job!
Meraviglioso!
ReplyDeleteBellissimo e originale!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful! I've been wanting to do this, but am nervous about using an xacto knife with certain students. What grade did this? It looks like you had one student only. Seriously, I love the subject, colors, everything!
ReplyDeleteYes, This is my son's work, but have a look on this post, I've done with 8 student 11-12 years old... they must be very responsible, of course!
